About Ambitio: Copilot for Education Abroad

About the Role

This role involves leading and managing the admissions team to achieve enrollment targets while providing comprehensive guidance to students aspiring to study abroad in countries like the US, UK, Europe, and Australia. The candidate will assist with university applications, profile building, and documentation, ensuring each student has the best chance of admission. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, following up with students for continuous support, organising marketing initiatives, and mentoring new team members. Staying updated with the latest admission trends through university workshops and training is also a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Coaching

• Lead, mentor, and support a pod of Admissions Experts (AE1–Sr AE)
• Drive high-quality guidance, ownership, and professional growth
• Run coaching reviews and call audits to sharpen craft and confidence

Student Success and Experience

• Ensure every student gets clear guidance and strong momentum throughout their journey
• Maintain high-quality essays, timelines, and top-school ambitions through coordination with Application Experts and Mentors
• Prevent and resolve student concerns quickly, ensuring a seamless, trusted experience

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Product teams to improve platform workflows and reduce confusion
• Share ground insights to refine communication, nudges, and student-facing content
• Enable smooth execution across teams for consistent delivery excellence

What makes you a great fit?

• 4–7 years of experience in study abroad, admissions, or student success, with at least 1–2 years leading a performance-driven team
• Strong understanding of global higher-education admissions processes, timelines, and top-school expectations
• Proven ability to coach, review, and develop team members to consistently deliver high-quality guidance
• Exceptional communication skills with a student-centric and empathy-first approach
• Skilled at proactively resolving concerns and preventing escalations through structured follow-ups
• Comfortable collaborating with product, content, and delivery experts to improve student experience
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of driving accountability and excellence within a fast-paced environment
